ACT 3 emerged out of two decades of the pastoral and writing ministry of John H. Armstrong in service to both pastors and mission groups in numerous capacities in North America and beyond. ACT 3 exists to serve the Church and her leadership worldwide.
We serve the Christian Church as an educational and evangelistic resource. The desire from the beginning has been to encourage doctrinal and ethical reformation joined with informed prayer for spiritual awakening.
From the Beginning we have emphasized equipping leadership for the Church that is faithful to Scripture and tradition and rooted in piety and grace. We believe that there is an urgent need to encourage and support ministers to practice theology as a search for ways to incarnate the Christian message more powerfully. This is done in small mentoring study groups, by means of one-day pastoral forums, in pastor-theologian events, and in seminary and college classes and chapels where future leaders are present. We also believe that informal life-giving spiritual counsel and friendship are a vital part of renewal by the Spirit. Click here to read what others are saying about ACT 3.
